This post requires a bit of an explanation. Click the photo for all the details and to see more from Paul and Lynne’s wedding in Mocksville, NC.
Paul and Lynne did not book me to shoot their wedding. To be honest, I had never even met Paul or Lynne until last Saturday morning. Their chosen photographer, Jen Shubin, does amazing work and was looking forward to shooting their December wedding. Unfortunately, she was put on bed rest with her pregnancy, and Paul and Lynne were missing a photographer! Jen asked me to step in for her and shoot the wedding, (although she will be editing most of the shots and doing the final proofing, album, etc.) I was happy to help (in honor of karma), especially since Jen did such a great job with mine and my husbands’ portrait earlier this fall!
Here’s a smattering of my personal favorites from part one the wedding, including a few preparations, the ceremony, and our bride and groom portrait shoot (FREEZING!). Check back later to see shots from the reception and some special portraits with the Mocksville Christmas lights!

I love this next shot of Paul helping Lynne get her cape on. I just think it is such a sweet moment.

Congratulations, Paul and Lynne!
Be sure to check back here later for shots from their reception and more portraits!

You were a wonderful photographer who captured such special moments without be obtrusive. I love the selection of pictures you have posted. I smile every time I look at them. Thanks!
