I hope you all enjoyed the first half of my special selection of images from Paul and Lynne’s wedding in Mocksville. Now, get ready for the rest! These photos are my personal favorites from their reception.
Paul and Lynne’s reception was in the fellowship hall of the church (the red building below). This was by far the BEST decorated fellowship hall I’ve ever seen! It was beautiful.

In honor of their December wedding, I brought along some peppermint sticks to use with the rings. These shots were done with my Sigma 105/2.8. I am so impressed with the clarity of this lens on the d700!

And something a little different… ring shots using a very carefully selected assistant! This little girl was so happy to help (especially since I let her keep a peppermint stick at the end). I just thought her little hand looked precious with the peppermint and the jewelry.

While we’re on the subject of sweets, check out these gorgeous cupcakes!

Yummmmmm!!!! (p.s. I know it’s kind of a funny photo, but doesn’t this bridesmaid have the prettiest eyelashes ever?)

I really, really love this next shot, especially the lightness of it and how natural and happy Lynne looks over her dad’s shoulder:

After the cake and the first dances, the party REALLY got started… There was even a choreographed routine to “Livin’ on a Prayer”!

And now for my favorite part of the day – Paul and Lynne’s Christmas light photo shoot! This was a challenge, as I had never done night photos before, but it was so much fun. (Special thanks to Lynne’s dad for navigating me downtown and especially for assisting with my light.)

Paul and Lynne, CONGRATULATIONS on your marriage! I hope you love your photos!
