This December I spent about a week shut in my house, designing albums to use as samples. I’ve tried several different album vendors and printers, and now I have some awesome products to show off! First, I want to show the Couture Press Print book, which is a high-end album that presents your wedding as if it were pictured in a fine art coffee table book. The design is simple – one photo per page – and the result is slick and modern and beautiful. The books are hand bound, and all options are customizable.
Click the photo to see the book and read more about it!
These books are not cheap, but they are an awesome choice for the couple who wants something hip and low-profile, but still high quality. And the best part? They can hold HUNDREDS of photos, with up to 300 pages available! If you’re one of those people who (like me) has trouble narrowing down your favorite images to fit a 15-spread flushmount book, this album is for you.
What I love best about these albums is that they come in a TON of options: silks, leathers, linens, with cases, without cases, with handles and buckles, big, little, in between, etc. Anything you want, this company can do. They even have eco-friendly books that are made entirely of recycled or sustainable materials and printed using wind power (with carbon offsets).
This particular album is a “Soho” book and features lavender linen, a smooth photo cover, and a matching book case, which is great for protecting the album and also gives it a real classic look. It also has engraving on the spine and vellum divider pages inserted throughout. I used photos from Brian and Gina’s wedding at the Montfair Resort Farm in Charlottesville, Virginia, which was one of my favorite weddings in 2009. Enjoy!
