As I continue with my last minute engagement posts, I’d like to introduce you to Brandy and Jeff. Brandy and Jeff are getting married this Sunday at Maison Beliveau in Blacksburg. I’m pumped about shooting it for two reasons: (1) It’s a beautiful venue and (2) it’ll be fun to shoot a wedding for a long-time friend. I’ve known Brandy since high school. We even performed a cat duet together in the school talent show. Getting to be a part of her wedding is a big honor.
I’m really happy to see Brandy with Jeff, who I believe is her perfect match. They are both very considerate and calm, and watching them talk and help each other during our shoot was really sweet. They haven’t been engaged long, but that’s because neither one of them wants to wait to say “I do!”
Enjoy their photos, and be sure and check back next week for wedding highlights!
We started shooting by Brandy’s house. She has a great yard with a creek and they wanted some pictures with their dogs, Angel and Julie. The dogs really ran the show.
Hard to believe, but this was Jeff’s first time walking in a creek! He grew up in San Diego and I guess they don’t have a lot of creeks there.
Next, we drove over to the Virginia Tech campus for a few shots at the War Memorial and under the Eggleston arches.
Leave them some love! This time next week, they’ll be MARRIED!
