I had kind of a marathon of senior portraits this week (along with 2 weddings last weekend), so I have a lot of new posts coming up!
Payton is senior #4 from my alma mater down in Bristol. She is a sporty girl who plays softball and basketball both, and she works in the guidance office with my dad! It was really fun to traipse around Sugar Hollow with Payton and her mom. Payton has a killer smile, as I’m sure you’ll agree, and I’m always in favor of photographing big smiles!

I’m finding that being a photographer also entails being a stylist. I get asked for opinions on outfits, shoes, and hair A LOT. (So much that I kind of want to take a class in styling and cosmetology.) I think Payton did a great job picking out her last outfit, in particular. She chose a black tank that had colored beading all around the collar. The shape and the detailing were interesting but still kind of low-key, and the collar framed her face really nicely. It’s sophisticated, but still casual. She also took the time to put on some jewelry, which adds a nice touch.

I have enjoyed all the picture of the JSB girls I have seen. You have done a great job! It’s hard for me to believe they are seniors, it seems like yesterday they were at the middle school!
