When I met Rachel at their engagement session last fall (which I swear I am still going to blog), she was wearing cute glasses and chasing a fuzzy little dog and had the most expressive, fun personality. I knew her wedding, much like her, would be simultaneously stylish and relaxed, and I was correct.
Rachel and Matt are both counselors, and their care for each other and for each of their guests was evident throughout their event. I was treated so warmly, I kind of hated to leave. Their wedding was located at the beautiful (and fairly new) Attimo Winery in Christiansburg, Virginia. We were fortunate to score great light and not-too-hot temperatures on their wedding day, a major plus for June. My favorite part of the day was definitely THE DRESS. Wait until you see it with the train all unfurled. It is a dramatic and most excellent garment, and looked fantastic on Rachel with her tiny little waistline and gorgeous dark hair.
Check out their photos below, and feel free to share/like/pin using the links at the bottom. Special thanks to Shannon Maggi for second shooting with me at this event!
