Stacey and Don were married at the gorgeous historic Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, VA. It’s been a little over two years since I took these photos, but it occurred to me that they were never properly blogged. They were actually featured on the Washingtonian, but I definitely think they deserve a little chance to shine here.
I’ve been getting more and more inquiries for the Homestead lately, which makes me happy. I am really excited to be returning there this spring for another event. The Homestead is a fabulous place for a wedding, with beautiful scenery both inside and out. The food is delicious and I hear the spa is great. My recommendations: bring good walking shoes, because it’s large, and if you get motion sickness, be sure to pack some dramamine for the car ride out there.
Special thanks to Sarah Der, a former wedding client, current friend, and fantastic photographer in the Boston area, for second shooting with me at this event. She got some killer images, some of which you see below. Having a good second shooter is such a gift, and I was lucky to have Sarah on board for this wedding.
