Welcome to part II of Katie and Phil’s beautiful Montfair Resort Farm wedding.
One of my favorite parts of Katie and Phil’s wedding day was the focus on cycling. They are members of a bike club and had bike-themed decor elements, boutonnieres, and many friends come to the wedding with their bikes in tow. So, we used them for some portraits. What photographer can resist taking a few wedding pictures with bikes?
Earlier, I posted photos from their prep and ceremony, along with many portraits. In this post, I’ll be sharing their reception photos. Since Katie and Phil had such an early ceremony, the reception gave guests a great lunch and some afternoon entertainment, and then allowed everyone to stay and party for dinner or take off to enjoy the rest of their weekend. It was very relaxed and fun — you’ll notice that many guests even changed their clothes. When I left, there were still hours of daylight left to enjoy.
Katie and Phil’s decor was inspired by their love of bikes and music, as well as using lots of natural elements like burlap, wildflowers, and tree stumps. I loved the decorate-your-own drink coozies and chalk-labeled drink jars. And their food, which even had vegan options, was so tasty.
