High school senior picture season is here!
Most schools provide a senior picture opportunity to their students. It goes something like this: everyone comes to school on the designated day, takes the requisite yearbook shot, then goes from background to background doing the assigned poses on the given props. The result is that everyone’s pictures look kind of the same.
Now, this is fine for most people. I did it when I was a senior, and I liked my pictures. BUT if you are the type of student who wants something really different, something that really reflects your personality and has a more contemporary, fresh look, consider trying a senior portrait session.
I offer 3 sessions for seniors:
The Mini-Session - $100 – includes just one outfit and about half an hour of photography (usually about 15-20 photos). It’s nice for getting just a few nice shots to frame. Includes a private online gallery for ordering prints.
The Friend Session – $150 each – share a 2-hour session with up to 3 friends. Everyone pays their own rate and gets a set of individual pictures as well as a few of you all together (usually results in about 20-30 pictures each). Includes a 4×6″ proof book and a private online gallery for ordering prints.
The Basic Session – otherwise known as “the supermodel treatment” – $300 – this session features up to 2 hours of photography in 2 locations and 3-4 outfits (usually results in about 50-60 pictures). You get a 4×6″ proof book, an online gallery for ordering prints, and a $50 credit towards prints.
PRODUCTS: You can order high-quality prints, fine art wall mounts (acrylic, metallic, or canvas), books, albums, custom-designed cards, and even things like cell phone skins!
Important notes:
* Even if you do a full senior portrait session, you do still need to have your yearbook photo taken through the school. (They do not charge for this.)
* All seniors get 10% off their print orders, if ordered in the first month after proof delivery.
* You can order a high-resolution photo disc separately for printing. Let me know if you’re interested in adding one on.
