Maternity Pictures – Roanoke, Virginia Photography

I don't know what was in the water last summer, but I know a LOT of pregnant ladies right now, and several of them are former brides. I'll be honest - I never though I'd want to do maternity photos... but then I got pregnant myself. There is definitely something special and magical about this time, and I now totally understand the urge to capture it in photos, even when you don't feel the best! When I found out Heather and Jeremy were expecting a little boy this spring, I was so thrilled for them. I asked Heather if she'd like to model for a few maternity pictures, just for fun, and she and Jeremy were both game for the shoot. We had great time traipsing around the park in Salem and then snacking on cookie cake (two pregnant ladies is a dangerous thing!). Heather and Jeremy, thanks for a great shoot, and I can't wait to see photos of that little boy!

We shot a few at their house as well. Heather and Jeremy are totally on the ball with home preparations. Not only have they gotten the nursery ready and all the baby clothes washed and put neatly away, but Jeremy has remodeled the kitchen and living room, installed countertops, and refaced their fireplace with stone and a beautiful new mantel.

Not much longer now! They are going to be great parents.
