Bridal portraits are a bit of a Southern tradition, and I really think every bride should have one done. They are so much fun, and are the best way to get that one perfect shot of you in your dress. Despite the best planning, the wedding day is often so rushed that photographers are only able to snag a few shots of the bride alone, and she’s sometimes too stressed to enjoy the photos.
Before the wedding, your bridal portrait is a great way to test out your hair and makeup before the big day, and many brides (and moms!) love to display a large print of you in your dress at the wedding reception. After the wedding, your bridal portrait gives you a chance to enjoy your dress again, but in a much more relaxed environment. (And after the wedding, you don’t have to worry about keeping the hem clean!)
Bridal portrait packages start at $100 with purchase of a print or digital collection, or $300 with no further purchase required. All portraits include a 4×6″ spiral-bound book of prints and an online gallery for ordering. Any prints ordered are fully retouched and printed on professional lustre paper or fine art canvas. p.s. I’ve been on the hunt for a bride in a short cocktail-style dress and red heels for about a year now… let me know if that’s your look! I have some unusual locations I’d love to try out with someone interested in a more fashion-style shoot.
