When I think of the ideal lifestyle newborn photography session, this is one I picture.  Little Rhydian was born last winter into a colorful home with two active brothers.  I was in love with the place as soon as I walked in.  They live near a creek, with chickens.  There were drawings taped to the walls and pictures on the fridge.  There were colorful furniture items collected over time, each with a story.  A basket étagère hanging by the kitchen window.  Toy trains and handmade blankets.  Color and texture and character all around.

And his family itself: they were relaxed and caring and funny, with the brothers running around barefooted and in costume, excited to show me their favorite toys and their brand new baby.
